What your kids can expect
Messianic education is provided on Shabbat during the sermon. The Torah Time Saplings goal is to teach the word of God in a fun and hands on manner. Our hope is to facilitate a setting that encourages a relationship with God and a setting that is engaging and enjoyable to the saplings.
Time and Location
On Shabbat, this class is available for children 7 to 10 years old from approximately 11:15am to 12:00pm. The saplings class is located on the lower level and is free and open to everyone while attending Shabbat Service.
Class Structure
During Torah Time Saplings, the children focus on crafts, activities, and games that center around biblical principles and stories. Additionally, we provide a parent-approved snack each week.
Curriculum
We use a combination of Orange curriculum and Messianic specific teachings carefully crafted by our staff for our Saplings lessons. Orange Curriculum is gospel grounded teachings with the goal of anchoring the everyday faith of kids and teenagers to what Jesus said and did. You can learn more about Orange Curriculum here.
Saplings Teachers
Sapling Teachers are all background checked to create a safe environment for your children. All parents/guardians are asked to have one parent/guardian serve on behalf of their kids once a month in our children's ministry so you will likely have parents serving your children. Additionally, we provide youth the opportunity to serve in this ministry alongside the adult volunteers.
