The Heart of the Gospel

Getting right with God marks the true beginning of life. Humanity stands in a condition of sin, estranged from the One who created us. We are lost, wandering amid the disorder and darkness of a broken world. Yet, in His love, God sent His Son to seek us, to rescue us from sin and shame, and to reconcile us to the Father. This initial work of redemption is known as justification. It is the means by which we are declared righteous before God, restored to relationship with Him, and brought into a state of peace with our Creator.
