Following God comes with unpredictable challenges. These challenges can be overwhelming and too big to handle at times. But, we need not face them alone. God is our strength, our hope, and our help in every fiery trial. By His power, fear gives way to faith and weakness to strength. Moses’ successor, Joshua, experienced unpredictable trials while leading Israel but he learned to rely on God and be an overcomer. Through the story of Joshua’s commission to take Israel into the promised land, we will learn that no obstacle is too great – because with God, all things are possible.
